From 1998-2010 I created the billboards for Theater Rotterdam.
Theater Rotterdam was one of the few theaters in the Netherlands who still had handpainted billboards to announce events and performances. Uptill 2010 I painted them on a size of 4x4 meters. Every three or four weeks a new billboard.
After 2010 Theater Rotterdam switched to printed banners and a digital videowall.
I think I painted more than 100 billboards for performances of RoTheater, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Akram Kahn Dance Company, Motel Mozaique and many other festivals organized in the theater.
