A serie drawn in 2020-21 while travelling for a year in camper through Spain and Portugal.
The drawings are included in Lisa Goudzwaard's travel book "Waar gaat dat heen?" issued September 2022, about our travels together during the Corona Crisis.
Drawing is the core of who I am. As long as I can remember uptill today, I draw with fine lines, black and white.
My work has been described as philosophical cartoons and black humor. Drawing is like breathing to me. Don't ask me how, what and when or the deeper meaning. It just happens. Like an autonomous force inside myself that keeps my hand moving. Day after day, year after year.
